Preview deleted

I recently downloaded the photo editing program "Gimp" and noticed that Preview has been deleted from my computer. How do I get Preview back? Would it come back after I uninstall Gimp? Is it gone forever? What can I do? Can I run both Gimp and Preview?

Did you look in your Applications folder? Did you search for Preview with Spotlight?

^Yes. It's not showing up in spotlight, it's not showing up in the applications folder, and when I search "Preview" nothing comes up.

One other place to look... the Trash, if you haven't emptied it. If it's really gone, you'll have to restore it from the Mac OS X install disc that came with your Mac. And yes, you can have them both installed at the same time.
