Preview currently in its current form is super bad. A number of issues I’m having currently:
pencil writing and god awful amounts of latency. Like you would write text and you can write to the end of the sentence and it still wouldn’t follow along.
uses a ton of battery. using it for an hour sucked up like 20-30% of my battery. even heavy windowing doesn’t consume that much.
General lag moving from pencil tool to another
glitchy flickering form written text
PDF’s with multiple pages just randomly moving to the top.
heat issues and it just warming up for random reasons
All of this has happen since ipadOS26.0 beta 2 through public release and into the 26.1 betas. Really disappointing from aspple to having good apps get done like this.
