Sometimes when I open pdf files from preview, they are almsot completely blank. The first page (a warning about copy writing) is there, but after that its blank, with just a word or two here or there. Has anyone else had this problem, or know how to solve it? Thanks

It's probably a fonts problem. You may not have the fonts in the particular pdf file. If you still have Acrobat Reader on the machine (I don't) try to open the troublesome file in Acrobat Reader and see if it gives a missing fonts error message.

Maybe not fonts...

I've had this issue with some documents that were scanned in as images - Preview has blank pages and Reader show 'em fine - I saw this with 10.3.6, BTW, haven't tried again under 10.3.7.

perhaps start by trashing this file:

/Users/yourname/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Preview.plist
