Preview Justification Opposite

For some reason why text boxes in Preview are using the opposite justification of what I select. If I select to left justify, it right justifies and vice versa.

Why is this happening? Anyone else have this? Bug with current version? Happens on two machines.

That's weird, it works normally for me (on macOS 11.6). Left/right/center follows accordingly, no issues. Hmmm. Maybe it's specific to the file format? I tested on PDF and it was fine there.
