am i missing some setting or is it not possible anymore to have more than one column of thumbnails on the left hand side (why move from the right)?

in snow leopard/leopard there was this little adjuster at the bottom (similar to the one in iphoto) to set the size of the thumbnail and therefore the number of columns of thumbnails per row.
