Ever since I've upgraded from Leopard to Lion, I've had issues with the application Preview. Specifically, the permissions setting seem to be set up incorrectly.

I know how to alter them in Finder, but not sure what they *should* be ideally. I'm just using this computer for personal use, but like to modify images, etc. and it always makes me create a duplicate image before I can modify, resize, etc. Anyone know?

Is it asking for an admin password? If it isn’t that is normal and is part of Lions Autosave features where it asks before you can modify a file.

I doubt you are experiencing permissions issues.
