I only just got an Imac G3,
I have a file with all my pictures in it,
I click on a picture to inlarge it but then to look at the next one I
have to click on the X button to get rid of it then click on the next
picture to inlarge it,

on my old PC I just had to click on the next button or right arrow
button to see the next picture. (were am I going wrong ?)

also when I click on a pic they come up small and I have to enlarge them every time, is there a way to make them atomaticly big in preview ?

Thanks.

Start Preview first, proceed to the Open dialog box and the folder where they all exist. Select all of the photos you wish to view and press <return/enter> or click the Open button.

Now, you can click the arrow toolbar icons to move back and forth through the photos.

Is it a file or a folder that we are talking about first of all.

bousozoku, what you said works Thankyou,
but why are my pics all small ? for exsample one picture is 120k but when I click on it the preview shows it only about 3 cm small.

That would be a good question. ;)

All that I can tell you is that there is some combination of things that makes certain photos to be displayed much smaller than expected. I'm not sure that it's a bug but it seems annoying. I have both large and small files that I create look big but some content I receive looks very small.

One thing that I've found to be useful is that, if you have several photos in a group that are portrait and others that are landscape-oriented, they'll all be fitted into the same frame size and shape, causing a similar effect.

Go to the Preview menu and choose Preferences. Then go to the Images tab and untick Respect DPI.
