Hello!
I'm trying to change the size of images in preview. I'm clicking 'export' and then trying to make them smaller by putting a smaller file size in the target size box, but the cursor wont leave the file name box above - it puts the new file size in the name box - and if I persevere eventually the whole thing freezes!
Weird.
Am I doing somethng wrong?
Thank you!

Sorry, if this sounds stupid, but did you activate the field? I think I remember there being a check box that you have to activate first.

Another idea: I think target size is only open for special filetypes like jpg, though this could be wrong.

I activated the field alright, but the other field wont become DEactivated for some reason, so i have the cursor in the target size area and the file name remails grey and it is the file name which changes when i type... then it freezes.
I'm using jpegs alright.

Now, I see. This sounds strange. I have no idea what could cause this, sorry. Perhaps deleting preferences or repairing privileges helps. Did you try this?
