I can't figure out a way to do this, but it seems really basic and maybe I'm missing something:
What I have:
Random downloaded pics e.g. from emails, various sizes, in Downloads folder. Also various random screenshots etc. on desktop.
What I want:
To view any one of the pics, and navigate to the others in/on the folder/desktop. All at 100% or scaled to fit on the screen if that's too large.
With Preview, I have to select all the files, then the Preview window is sized to the first one and all the others following squeeze into it.
With Quick Look, it's pretty much the same - the window doesn't resize when moving to other images. I don't have to select all the files first, but if the folder is in Icon View (most are), I can't just use the arrow keys to navigate like a "normal" 'slideshow' - I have to go across and down and across and down etc. etc.
Can I change/fix any of this?
I don't want to import all these temporary images into iPhoto/Aperture.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Jonathan.
