Hello, I'm sorry if this will be poorly formulated, English is not my mother tongue.
So, I've been googling a long time for a solution now and I can't find one, so I make a thread myself.
I have an issue with the Preview application, the issue is that when I double click the opened image's menu bar (which has the function of zooming application windows to fit the screen with my settings), the Preview window fails to extend to the very bottom of the iMac's true screen size.
However, this is not the case when I double click applications' menu bars like TextEdit, Safari and Finder. Those applications' windows do extend to the very bottom of the screen, as do my game applications which extend both horizontally and vertically according to the true screen size.
So this is somehow only a Preview window issue.
When I double click an open Preview window's menu bar it always leaves about a centimeter of space beneath it. This is not due to the dock hindering it though, since I have tried both hiding the dock, as well as moving the dock onto other monitors. The issue persists.
TL;DR
How do I make the Preview windows fit-to-screen by default when I double click the menu bar?

I have a clean install of 10.13.3 and mine works the same way. It doesn't fill the screen.

You can always just hit the green jelly button for full screen. Only one click for the button instead of two on the title bar.

Yes, I am aware of the full screen option, thank you. I just find it odd that preview is the only application which seems to have this height expand limit, I would not think it's intentional, do Mac OS developers follow this forum's bugs and such perhaps? Or should we make a customer service type thread on an official Mac site?
