Opened preview window (space bar one), closed it, switched spaces, and it popped back up saying no items selected.
Click space to dismiss, then it popps back up when i switch space.

Preview window not going awat

Opened preview window (space bar one), closed it, switched spaces, and it popped back up saying no items selected.
Click space to dismiss, then it popps back up when i switch space.

Had the same issue; fixed by relaunching Finder through Force Quit:
Keyboard: Option+Command+Escape
Mouse: TopLeft Click Apple -> Force Quit
Keyboard: Option+Command+Escape
Mouse: TopLeft Click Apple -> Force Quit
