AM I the only one who finds that Preview often doesn't open images at their correct size?

As an example, I can save an image in Safari, and the info under it will say 400x500, but Preview will open it as a very small image and I have to zoom in.

The only images I've noticed this on are images that have a high DPI associated with them. So sya the image is 600 by 600 and the dpi is set to 600, preview appears to try and make the image about an inch square on the screen.

For reference, I've definatly noticed this behavior on 10.3.3.

In Preview preferences, go to the Images tab and under 'Default image scale' choose 'Actual size'. The checkboxes here might help too. :)

Ohh, "Respect image DPI for actual size" did it.
Scrummy :)
