Previews folder in the iPhoto Library

Hi all,

Anyone know what the previews folder is for in the iPhoto library (Show package contents) - and also if it's safe to delete?

It's 8gb and would give me some breathing space on my SSD.

I'd be very careful about deleting anything in the iPhoto package. You could cause all sorts of problems within iPhoto.
