I can't decide on it. What is swaying me to the MBP, is I can't really afford the new MB with tax, as I can't get it that cheap, except at like MacMall, and that's only the mbp.
 
Ask yourself what exactly it is that you want the computer for, and that should help you in coming to a decision. Despite the alluring appearance, attractive aesthetic, and stylish design, the new MB is still not a patch on the refurb MBP; the latter has more power, excellent performance, a superb screen, is tried and tested (individually), and comes with Apple's warranty.

New MB lacks a firewire port and you have the option of adding eSATA through the expresscard slot. Both are pretty big considerations if you do any video editing or have peripherals that use firewire.
