Don't have much need for faster graphics, but a FW port is essential for my DV camcorder and Target Mode.

I'd like to see how the 2.0ghz unibody MacBook compares in performance with the previous 2.4ghz MacBooks, but these older ones do seem like a great deal.

Yup. It's actually a better deal than the new MacBook. Apple ignored the state of the economy and I think they'll be forced to really make aggressive price drops or they'll go under and fast. Unless their financial forecasters know otherwise.

I don't know if I'd go that far... They DROPPED the price of their entry-level model. Apple's sales have still been steady already, prior to the release of these new models, so an even cheaper price for the same model is a great deal. I don't get why people are complaining. If you want a far superior product, you're going to pay for it.

I'm curious about the performance difference too... hopefully barefeats does testing soon.
