Does anyone know what Apple does with their now previous line of MacBooks? Do they sell them in the stores at a discounted price until they're all gone or send them back to the warehouse for online sales (or some other means of distribution)? I'm curious, because I wouldn't mind picking a new one up for a discount. I imagine that Best Buy will have the previous gen MacBooks and MacBook Pros for sale at a discount within the week. They did this very thing when the new iMacs came out. I imagine that the savings will be anywhere from $150-250 per laptop at BB.

I called the Apple Store and they said they wont sell em at a discount. Amazon.com and Macmall.com have reduced their prices on those MBP's. You might want to check out pcprices.net to see who has the best price on the previous gen Mac's.

They sure do have a lot of them on the Apple Refurb store online. I dont know if they are refurbished, they might be just clearing stock.

Good Luck
