previous recipients.... gone

went to send an email just now, and discovered that all my previous recipients in apple mail were gone (the only ones there are as of sept 2,2020)

anyone else? and any idea how i can get the list back?

no OS updates (or app updates) this past week, so not sure what happened. wondering if anyone else sees this...

discovered they're here:
~/Library/Containers/com.apple.corerecents.recentsd/Data/Library/Recents

sadly, i can't restore that; i had the mail folder backed up, but not the containers (i've fixed that, for the future). so it goes...
