Thinking of buying an Air, obviously there is a pretty big price difference between the 1.6 and 1.8 processor, and the more expensive model has a smaller drive?

Is it worth paying all the extra money?....what is the advantage of the solid drive?....I am planning on getting some external storage device for my films, is that what the time capsual is for?...

And what chance a new model on the horizon?

Thanks for any advice...

The SSD is smaller, but faster and more rugged in terms of drops.

It's up to you if it's worth the extra money.

Time capsule is a backup solution.

There are many threads on the potential new models. In my opinion we won't see a new one until at least January 2009.
