Price drop for current Pro after new model launch?

Whats the general price drop for existing Pro's once the new model launches? Like previous iPhones drop by ~100$. Any such for the mac line-up?

In a nutshel: no. When a new mac is introduced the old one is just gone. Often the available stock is then sold as refurbs. Third-party retailers do offer price drops though to clear up their inventory.

BTW, this question comes up every month or so. There is a lot of information if you search a bit.

The current generation of MBPs go into the refurb store and we frequently see around a 14 percent reduction in price. The current generation will not be sold like the iPhones, i.e., you can still buy the 6s, but rather Apple moves the existing stock to the refurb store.

Also you can find deals on Amazon, and B&H Video for these discontinued models (once they're discontinued)
