iPod price drop on old ipods with macbook purchase

the prices for the old ipods with a macbook purchase are now
$249 for 30GB and
$299 for 60GB.

nanos 2GB are $149 and 4GB for $199.

i guess that helps some. but the new models are just tweaked versions of the same stuff apple already had.

so why not buy the old model?
