Price drop on refurbished laptops from Apple

I think this is the right forum to put this in, if not, I'm sorry, I'm just trying to help.

Just wanted to let people know that the prices of Santa Rosa MacBooks and MacBook Pros have been dropped quite a bit in the refurb store.

MacBook Pros are 1449 (2.2), 1649 (2.4), and 2149 (17" 2.4).

MacBooks are 849, 999, and 1049 for the 3 SR models.

Yeah! I saw that! That's a 250 dollar price drop on those! (they were 1699 for the 2.2 a bit ago!) Anyone who couldn't decide between a blackbook and a macbook pro this week just got their answer!

I always buy my macs as refurbs. You save a large amount of money and they have the same warranty as the new product. When I got my MBP 17" it had a small gouge in the screen and I called Apple about it, they sent me to my local Apple Store and the next day I picked it up with a new screen.

Also when you resell them you get a better return on investment as most people buying used don't really care if it was originally new or used.
