Price for a second-hand top end 2011 27" iMac?

A very close friend of mine is selling his 2011 top end 27" iMac in light of the retina MBP being rolled out. I'm interested but I'm not sure what kind of price to offer him for it.

Purchased August 27, 2011
Highest i7 processor
12 GB RAM
1TB HDD
6990 with 2GB VRAM

What should I offer?

I purchased one off of ebay for $2000 just recently. If you can get it for a better price than that, more power to you.
