Then how are you on the iPhone forums? LOL.

Maybe because I bought my 32 GB iPhone 4 at $299 w/contract.

Why do people not understand subsidized pricing vs. full retail?

I sold phones for T-Mobile, and it was like rocket science for some people. They would walk up to the kiosk and demand they get "that phone for $199." We then pull up their account and see that they are still in contract, and explain that they don't qualify for that price. They would then instantly look dumbfounded, as if I asked them what 32533523 x 3253532 was.

that was under contract so until your out of contract $599-$699 non contract on the other hand I just sold my 3GS for $400. I them I paid $199 for a I4 and used the left over to upgrade my car radio. point is has the highest resale value. but if you don't want to pay it buy something else. many Android phones are decent some prefer them. you are still going to be buying non contract or go to ebay or craigslist and get a used one.

Pretty steep prices. I'd say look on eBay or something and (sigh) downgrade to a 3GS if you're not willing to pony up the money for a brand new IP4.

Thats because with verizon they would let you upgrade whenever you want for subsidized price if you complain enough :p

Also, check here to see how much it'll be for you, it may be less then full retail

I am not in us but I guess maybe you can re-upgrade your contract
I mean althou you are not eligible for upgrade anymore you can upgrade and get the phone for 399 and 499
