Price for replacement 17" HD Screen

My Girlfriend has just poked her finger through my MBP Screen any one know how much a replacement screen in UK will be from Apple and can it be done at the local apple shop (Trafford Centre)

About $500 Euros for the screen, and about 30min of labour. However much Apple charges for that...

In Japan, 100,000 yen (about $1000) for non-HD screen. HD screen should be more expensive.

My MBP is vintage sept 07 with the HD Screen. It is now in the trafford centre awaiting a new screen the cost is in the region of £500.00. which taken as a percentage of the whole cost I think is very reasonsble given the cost of the CPU RAM and HDD. All being well it should be home on Friday.

Just a quick note I googled screen repairs on the web before my original post and was unable to find a price for my specific screen but the 15" LED screen was quoted at approx £580.00 + VAT, what price new technology?

PS She didnt put her finger through the screen but did give a temper fuelled tap that did the damage

Buy it off eBay in the USA, HD screen should be less than $400.
