Anyone notice the price for a new 13" Macbook Pro WTB went up $100??? Yesterday they were $1699 for the 256GB, 8GB ram. Today they are $1799..... anyone else notice, wonder why they did this?

They did it to increase their profit margin.

As far as I know it's always been $1799 at the Apple Store at least... Are you maybe getting the education price confused with the non education price?

They did it because so many people on here were complaining that they couldn't properly differentiate between the models so Apple made it easier.

Thanks MacRumors whiners.
