Given the relative proximity to Vista, does anyone else think that 10.5 will probably sell for $99 instead of the normal $129?

Other than virtualization (an upgrade to boot-camp) -- is there anything else big that will be worth paying for? Chardonney was rumored too.

No.

The two operating systems are not really competing. After all I won't be buying Vista for my Mac (even though the Solo will now run Vista) because its cheaper than Leopard.

Equally, Windows box owners won't be picking up Leopard because they need to own a Mac to run it.

No, I think the price will stay the same. The price for Tiger is really good, and even better with a student discount.
