Hi!,

As you have probably seen, the new 27'' iMac can be configured to have a 768 GB SSD instead of HDD or Fusion Drive.

This is an extremely tempting option! not only to get the most of you iMac but also for those who want to use Bootcamp since one should be able to install Windows in a partition of that drive with no problems.

However, I am afraid it is not gonna be cheap... Any guesses on how much this will be?

It will almost DOUBLE the price of the standard 27" iMac :apple:

I would also bet about $1K it would be annoying if it's much more expensive than that...

Considering the cost to upgrade from 128GB to 768GB Flash Storage [Add $1,300.00] on the retina Macbook Pro I guess it will cost around the same price :)
