Video iPod prices reduced in the UK, is this a model clearout before something new is introduced?

All the US prices are the same, could be a blow out, but more of an inventory reduction then a new model. The store by my place had a deal all last month for $30 off an 8G nano or an 80g black iPod, just trying to reduce their numbers.

They are another 20 quid cheaper at Amazon.co.uk - £159 for 30 gb and £219 for 80 gb

the prices seem unchanged to me...

Go to Electronics and photo tab at Amazon.co.uk and then click on Apple iPods.

Looks like the Black 80 gb is £211 now on Amazon - price is dropping by the hour.

I didn't look on Amazon, I meant on the Apple Store.

EDIT: Just realised that they had, gone down about a tenner on the apple store... but the ones on amazon.. fricken bargain! 159 for a 30GB?! If I didnt already have an 80GB now would be the time to get one! (I got my 80GB at a steal at £200 on an eBay store (brand new factory sealed)).

sparkyms: That's a real steal of a deal as you said. Maybe with the decrease in prices by Apple, eBay prices will lower a good amount.
