I am just curious to see what most people look for first when purchasing replacement parts to repair an iPhone, iPad, or iPod. Is it price, quality, company name? Same question for finding a tech to do it for you.

There are so many aftermarket parts that you have to do some digging to find a true OEM instead of a cheap aftermarket part. However, with a little research, you can buy quality aftermarket parts at a fraction of the cost that work just as well for most replacement items. If you are wanting to replace a lcd/digitizer/glass, I would stick with OEM to cut down on sensitivity/display issues.
