Picked up an open box 38mm Space Black Stainless Steel Apple Watch yesterday for $100 from MicroCenter. In like new condition. I say, if you have one near you, give it a shot.

I have not seen any "In store" retailers selling the Apple Watch anymore, as it's been phased out by the Series 1/2. The first generation Watch is primarily available online Retailers. Try B&H Photo online.
