Hi guys,

I recently bought a base 2012 MBA 13", and I plan on selling it when (if?) a 13" retina pro is released.

It was in mint condition until yesterday, when I dropped it - now there's a pretty ugly 2cm gash in the left corner above the keyboard, and the bottom left of the screen is a little bent (although I'm going to *try* to bend it back, even the genius I talked to suggested it when I told him I'm not willing to shell out $500 for a purely cosmetic screen replacement).

How much do you think this damage would factor into the resale price? Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Jon

As a starting point, you can check Mac2Sell, eBay (including completed sales), or Amazon for prices of similar models, to get an idea of what a reasonable price may be. Then adjust the price to account for condition, configuration, remaining AppleCare coverage (if any), etc.
