Have you tried just using Finder? Open a Finder window that has the documents that you want to print. Select and highlight all the files that you want to print by using the Command key. Then go to the menu bar and choose 'File' and then 'Print' -- I tried this and it worked to print several PDFs. They *did* quickly open in Preview, and I don't know how to prevent it, but just as quickly, Preview stopped showing the file and closed down. In other words, Preview opened only long enough to print the files, then closed down.

Il try preview again. I did change the open in. If I make it open in preview or text edit it prints. But if I keep it default open in pages it tries to open in pages but pages just hangs indefinitely. I can simply just open a word doc using pages and then print it while it's in pages. But for some reason I can't say file > print. I have to open it in pages then print the file. I very often need to print up 20 words docs. On my windows machine I would just highlight them all right click and print. Dragging then into the printer does nothing either.

I've never used Pages, so I have no idea what's going on when using it, but for PDFs I just use Preview since it works well.

Give or take basically if I set them to open with any other program they will print. Just not with pages. Is there a pages setting somewhere or something to enable printing without having to open the program first?
