Print off Mac

So my 2 printers are hooked up to 2 windows computers in my basement both with xp...im getting an iMac upstairs and this would be the main computer? Is there a way to print from the iMac to one of these printers in the basement? on the windows xp computer? how would i do this?

Eric, there's a number of ways I could think of depending on how your home network is configured. In windows, you should be able to share the printer that is connected to that PC and access the printer from your Mac. It's not something I think I could walk you through via the forums since there's a number of ways to do it - again, depending on your home network. I'm guessing there's a few tutorials via Google you could find to help.

For me, I have a printer and external hard drive shared wirelessly via an Apple Airport Extreme base station.
