After installing Mavericks i can't install my works printer drivers, they are big old photocopiers and last driver released was 2008 for 10.5 .. i've contact the company but not holding my breath.
When i try to install the driver it says it was installed incorrectly and asked if i would like to repair it, after this it just crashes any app that i click print in. I've tried other drivers but they say the architecture isn't supported or something.
I can't use the generic driver because i'm required to input my code before printing and the generic driver doesn't have this feature.
At the moment i'm sat with my windows VM open and printing through that which is just hogging resources.
Do i have any other options? I know there are apps that you can install on PCs that allow iOS devices to print on non AirPrint devices, do i have any options in this area?
I'm willing to try anything at the minute, we won't be getting any new printers anytime soon so this is a real issue for me (i'm not downgrading either
