This morning I found that my printer had printed one short page by itself.

Here is the message it printed...

GET http://zerg.hellabs.net/cgi-bin/textenv.pl HTTP/1.1

User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1)

My printer is connected via USB to my Apple Airport Extreme. I also had one Mac turned on during the night. There could have been a random iOS device or two turned on as well.

I searched the entire net and found just one case of people posting this happened to them, with the near identical message.

They came to the conclusion it was probably just a random thing that got through, and that it wasn't a significant worry. One of them also had an Airpot Extreme.

Besides printing though, I did find on the net people who see this in their logs, similar messages that are blocked by their system or whatever. They didn't have anything print though.

What do you guys think? Nothing much to worry about? Or should I? My airport extreme is up to date.

Many thanks.
