Greetings forums!
I'm a college student in the basic level first year programming course. Our programs in C++ aren't that complex yet and my teacher prefers we have them printed out to turn them in. I can't help but notice that whenever i print out a program form xcode the font size it uses is incredibly large. And to make sure I'm clear: I'm talking about the font size on a piece of paper when i select print from the menu, NOT the font size in xcode itself.
I poked around int he preferences but didn't find anything, only the regular font sizes in xcode, all set at 10 point. Can anyone help?

What about copying the code into TextEdit or another word processor and then printing that?

Yeah, I don't think there is a pref for that, and there should be. I cut and paste into TextEdit, TextWrangler, TextMate or Word to print.

All right, thanks everybody. I agree there should be an option for this, or at lest have it match the on-screen text size.

In Xcode 3.1.2 on Leopard, when the Print dialog comes up, you can simply change the Scale value in the Page Attributes section. 50% works for me.

I'm not sure if the same thing works in other versions of Xcode or OS X.

:)

I figured it out!

I'm sorry if this is a little late, but when you go to "File > Print" Change the "Scale" to about 70% and it will print the page at a suitable size!
