Hello all.

My Dad (an old school kind of guy and also a life long Apple guy), really wants a printed manual for his new 2021 MacBook Pro 16" and the same for the new OS Monterey. I looked around and it seems to be all online. Even the one for the MBP in Apple Books cannot be printed.

Is there something I am overlooking? Or has someone found one compiled elsewhere (such as a 3rd party site)?

My Dad is currently in a rehab hospital (and will be for 2-3 more weeks). He doesn't want to risk having the new MBP there...but would love to read these manuals as he recovers.

Thank you!
David

No printed manual available anywhere that I've ever heard of. If you have a cheaper machine he could feel comfortable using in the hospital, he could still do a lot of reading there.

Just an idea, but the David Pogue books about macOS are really good. I see he has one out for Big Sur, but not Monterey yet. I don't think the differences are so great that it would matter much. I would just buy him the Pogue book for Big Sur.

Here is the Amazon link.

I don't think he needs much of a manual for the MacBook hardware. You pretty much open the lid and it turns itself on, then you use the OS and the book would cover that part.
