So the new AE/TC allows for a guest wireless network to be set up alongside your main wireless network.

I use this when friends come over.

Now, I have a printer connected via the TC USB port. Is there any way for people on the guest network to have access to the printer?

Nope, the guest network allows access to the internet only. The primary network, printers and/or attached drives are all not available.

Thanks. No work-around?

It's that way by design as the guest network is setup to be segregated from everything else for security purposes. The only work around would be to allow your friends access to your primary network.

Yeah, figured as much. They really should allow printer access, since that is something that you could imagine guests needing.

if you enable "share printers over wan" they will then show up on the guest network. i'm not sure you would want to leave that turned on though. maybe just when the guests are over and then turn it back off when they leave.
