Got a HP printer. When I try printing something the printer doesn't appear in the list - Says 'No Printer Selected', If I click add printer - click printer in the list and go add, it gives me the error 'server-error-service-unavailable'. So Then if I go to 'System preferences -> Print & Fax' then hold command & the plus button to reset the printer system it then re-adds the printer and I can print and all is well.
Problem is if I shutdown the ibook, or restart it, it just does exactly the same. Can anyone tell me how to fix it please? 'cos I cant be doing this after every reboot. I have reinstalled the HP software package from HP's website - i have also reinstalled from the disk before doing that but it's not made a difference. The OSX software is fully upto date aswell.
