Printer icon no longer closes automatically after printing

Hi guys, trivial issue after the 11.6 update, when I print something, the printer icon appears at the bottom left with the red number 1 on as it always has but doesn't close after printing as it used to so have to close it manually, obviously not a major issue.

Anyone else noticing the same?

Yep, same here, just updated to 11.6. Printed out two pages, the printer appeared in the dock... and stayed there. I had to quit it manually.

Did your desktop shortcut in favourites at the side of finder also? I don't like it when my config gets changed, damn ocd!
