I recently bought an iMac (the newest 2.93 GHz) and have set it up in my wife's home office. I left the Windows machine set up until my wife was comfortable with the Mac. I have run into 1 main thing that the Mac can't do that she needs (I also can't get her to just stop using the Windows machine, but that's user error) Her Brother multifunction printer (8440 I think) has a PCFax option in the Windows driver that will take in faxes (I think to PDF's) automatically without printing them. The OSX driver does not do this. So I want to install the printer in Windows in a VM so I can run that program full time on the iMac. Will this work? Will I still be able to access the printer from OSX? From our Windows laptops over WiFi? I really want to get that old desktop computer out of the way, but until I can fix this my wife won't let me move it.
