Dear all,

my Mac (Tiger) is on a domestic network. I would like to print on a printer that is installed on a PC on the same network. For some reasons the Mac is not able to detect the printer (while other network PCs are able to print on that). Do you have a suggestion or a tutorial to resolve my problem?

Many thanks....now everything is more clear!!!

I have only the last problem. My HP printer is not in the list of models (HP Laserjet 2014). I have downloaded and installed the driver from the HP website, but i still do not find it in the list of printer......any suggestion?

That's a non-postscript printer. HP doesn't provide CUPS drivers for their non-postscript printers, so you're stuck with whatever connection type the printer was made for (USB, right? - the HP driver is USB-only!). You can probably connect the printer to the Mac and share the printer from the Mac.

Sorry.
