Hi,
My friend bought a MacBook and a Canon PIXMA MP180, which should have been free after rebate but Apple sent her an e-mail saying that the MP180 is no longer available and has been removed from her order. Now to get the features she wants (and some that she doesn't want), she needs to get the MP460 for $20 more. Is there any chance that if I complain a little they will drop it down to the price to price of the printer she ordered or that they'd throw in a free USB cable that I forgot she'd need? If the $130 rebate was instant it wouldn't be so bad to pay the extra $20 but now she has to fork out $150 now. As a university student every penny saved counts.

Thanks for your time,

Andrew

Well they do say "while supplies last" but I think with a fair amount of reason they may toss in the USB cable or give a small discount off her order. I would say in the spirit of customer service $20.00 is a small price for any organization to pay in order to retain one customer.

I would try...that is pretty much the best that you can do.
