Hey,, without using a network printer, how do I directly connect my laser printer to my MB. It doesn't have USB, it only has that good old super giant connection that fits on your motherboard of a desktop PC/Mac.

I'd prefer NOT an expensive solution (like those expensive docking stations)

Don't you think it would help if you gave the model of your printer--and its connectivity options?

Well, it's that big 'IE3344' something ? I don't know by heart (am not at home for a while), but it's the standard printer output, the one every other printer has always had till a couple of years ago.

I asked for the model printer--you know, HP DeskJet 890c? Epson Stylus C86? Xerox Phaser 8550 DP? Brother HL-5280DW? what? Some information that might actually be useful in determining the best method of communicating between your computer and printer?
