Printer only displays as Fax, can't print

I've downloaded and installed the software for an HP Laserjet M1319f MFP on my OSX 10.6.8. The problem is that I can't print from any program. It only gives me the option to fax. Going into Sys Pref-Print and Fax- the machine is listed as a Fax.

When I ran the .dmg/installer, it asked for lots of fax details like phone numbers and fax preferences straight away.

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong! It also took me days to download that 30m file bc I'm in South Sudan and my internet is the pits.
