Hello, MacRumors members!

I have a specific problem with my printer KYOCERA FS-1700+.
It is connected via USB to my MacBook Pro which operates MAC OS 10.6.4
The latest driver update on the Kyocera page supports OS 10.5, and the printer prints just half of the pages with this driver.
The pre-installed Kyocera driver on my Mac does not work at all.

Could someone please help me?
Thank you very much in advance ...

Alright, I tried it out, but it still did not work.
It still prints like 20% of the page.
Is there a another way to fix this problem?

So, I checked kyofilter and it is on root and wheel.
Furthermore, I also did reset the printer system and tried to install everything again, and there is still the same problem ...
It just send until 9% or 19% and that's it.
Is it probably, because there is not a driver for 10.6 available?
