Hi, My partner and I both got new iMacs a short time ago and we're still getting them up and running. I'm new to Mac having only used PCs previously.
Anyway our problem, the software that came with our printer, which is a Canon i9100 will not work with the Lion. This didn't seem to be a problem as when the printer was connected to each of our Macs they asked us if we wanted to install the drivers and we said yes.
However, now when we try to print we don't get the same options as we used to get. We used to get four tabs when we told it to print they were "Main, Page Set Up, Profiles and Maintenance". Now we get one very simplified version.
We have lost options such as to print greyscale, which is important as we both have photography as a hobby.
Any advice would be welcome. I'm not good with technology though so will need things explaining at a basic level - sorry!
