I just got a new hp deskjet 3820 printer. I opened up print center and got it to work on my G4. I then tried to set it up on my Powerbook 12". When I opened print center, it quit itself and does that every time I tried to open it. I used the hp CD, but it wont work. Please help me:confused: :confused: :confused: :confused:
 
Are you saying that Print Center started quitting when you launch it before or after you installed the printer software on the PowerBook?
 
Uninstall all traces of hp deskjet that exist on your PB's drive, (in Find search for "hp" and "dj" ) then go to hp.com, and search the latest driver for your printer. Install that and you shoud be ok. (Or as OK as you can be with hp stuff)
 
If that doesn't work, you might try deleting file /Users/(yourusername)/Library/Preferences/com.apple.print.PrintCenter.plist and redefining all of your printers.
