Apple $100 rebate period runs 10/17/06 to 1/22/07. Has anyone kept track of past rebate programs? Does a new program generally start up soon thereafter, or do mac upgrades often happen after rebate expires (rebate being an incentive to move out inventory)? Didn't the macbook/ipod rebate program end about same time ipod line updated? What is period after purchase during which Leopard (if released) upgrade would be free?
