I'm very excited about the new models, and configured my dream system in the on-line Apple store (I will order in a few days). The printer rebate is available to be checked. However, when you follow the links to the rebate form, you find the current rebate is only good on systems purchased after October 19, 2009.
I tried to verify if the rebate is good on new purchases by using the on-line sales chat. The "salesman" was so unhelpful I could not tell whether he was real or an AI.
In any case, I'm starting this thread in hopes that someone who has actually ordered through the on-line store has actually verified whether there is an operative printer rebate on the new models.
